Along with over 20,000 other Polish public officials, my great grandfather was murdered in Katyn on March 5, 1940. It took way too long for Katyn to be acknowledged. Because of yesterdays plane crash, the massacre the government officials were going to commemorate might now receive the worldwide attention it deserves. Totally fucked.
